The Eastern Pennsylvania-Delaware Geriatric Education Center (EPaD GEC) was established in 2005 through a grant from The Bureau of Health Professions in the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We are a consortium which includes the following institutions/facilities: Thomas Jefferson University, Marywood University, Christiana Care Health System.
EPaD GEC works collaboratively with various community organizations and agencies to include: The Philadelphia Senior Center, Center in the Park-Philadelphia, Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, Wilmington Senior Center-Delaware, New Castle Senior Center-Delaware, Delaware Aging Network.
We offer education and training opportunities for health professions, faculty, practitioners and students to enhance the quality of health care for the elderly and their caregivers.
